Friars Court is an absolute dream venue to say 'I do'!

From our first visit, Jeffrey could not have been more helpful, not only helping us create the most perfect ceremony, but also making suggestions for a location for our reception and for our guests to stay, as we wanted to have a 'wedding weekend'.

As soon as we left, we booked everything, and from there Jeffrey's support continued. He was so responsive to all our questions and requests, and was more than happy to accommodate us visiting on site to run through things in the lead up to the day.

The day itself was wonderful, Jeffrey again was so on point with all the organisation, and did all he could to ensure we just had to focus on enjoying every moment.

All our guests commented what a wonderful setting it was, describing the grounds (where we said I do!), as an idyllic English garden.

The biggest thank you to Jeffrey, we couldn't recommend Friars highly enough.

Everything about our wedding has been brilliant. Your support, advice, guidance and creative flare made the whole process so easy to navigate as well as enjoyable. I had a range of different ideas and you helped me make them into a reality and also suggested some things (particularly around decor) that I wouldn't have thought of and personally, I think it looked incredible. Any questions I had, you answered them in a really timely manner and despite the challenges of covid, I didn't feel any stress when it came to the venue. You also allowed me to look around on several occasions so I could bring my visions to life. 

 Everyone has commented on what a beautiful venue it is and how lovely everything looked - they all had a great time which is all we could ask for (and the weather was just perfect too!). The fact that you don't charge a corkage fee and that we can use our own suppliers was a really big thing for us as we wanted guests to come and enjoy themselves without a big expense on their shoulders. It really was the perfect blank (but beautiful) canvas for us to turn into the perfect wedding and it really was the one I have been dreaming of for a very long time!

We had the best day and I did not want it to end!

We are so glad we held our small wedding reception in the Garden Room at Friars Court. We were looking for a venue that wouldn't have a minimum restriction on numbers but also wanted it to be private and in a beautiful setting. Not easy to find! Along with Friars Court having a beautiful garden, Jeffrey decorated the Garden Room for us beautifully with a romantic woodland theme. He has been the nicest person we have encountered throughout our searching for a venue. With a wealth of experience he can recommend some fantastic caterers and photographers. We feel he went above and beyond any expectations. There aren't many venues that will cater for a small wedding party that will also allow private use of a lovely garden and personalised design service at a very reasonable price.

Hope you're well.  We just wanted to thank you, and please extend this thanks to Charles for the delicious cream tea, for making our wedding day run so smoothly!  We were so impressed with the slickness of proceedings and everyone was absolutely enthralled by your glorious gardens.  If I didn't know, I would never have thought the roses on the arbour were intruders!!!  Amazing. 

This is just a quick note to say thank you so much for everything that you did for us in the run up to the wedding, on the day and in fact, the day after! We had the most incredible day, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Not least in a large part for all the assistance you gave us with your calming, but epically long emails in the days before and providing distractions when needed – all in the line of duty.  The marquee looked fantastic, the barn looked incredible - although I don’t really remember the ceremony much – it really is a bit of a blur! Everyone has complimented us on how beautiful everything was, and that is largely down to you (and Charles!). 

Friars Court is a fabulous place to have had our wedding, and not just because the grounds are beautiful, but because your help was invaluable to us. We genuinely couldn’t have hoped for more. Our wedding day was memorable for all the right reasons, and we really cannot thank you enough for everything.
