Friars Court is a privately-owned house rather than an hotel. For guests hoping to grab a coffee or a quick bite to eat before a ceremony we suggest trying; The Clanfield Tavern, The Double Red Duke or Blake's Kitchen, all three of which are a few minutes drive away in the centre of the village of Clanfield.
The main car park at Friars Court, just beyond the grounds of the house, is clearly signed all the way up the drive; for guests with mobility issues please get in touch with us before the event and we'll aim to help as much as possible.
Friars Court has eight areas licensed for civil ceremonies which includes three within the moated grounds around the house. All public areas of the house and almost all of the grounds are fully-accessible to wheelchair users, just do bear in mind the forecourt directly in front of the main house is shingle. In addition to lavatories for ladies and gentlemen there is a spacious lavatory specifically for wheelchair users which also has a baby-changing table.
Whilst we welcome previews as Friars Court is a privately-owned house we do request that any visit made is by appointment only.
