Thank you for making sure that everything ran so smoothly. Your attendance to detail is incredible and we realise that you are responsible for much that happens behind the scenes. If anyone is unsure of what to do regarding wedding arrangements then Jeffrey is definitely the one to ask for ideas and advice.
Friars Court is an idyllic setting for a wedding, especially if one is blessed with a day as perfect as we had. Our guests thought it was all beautiful, like a scene from a film set. Well it's only just over 2 years since our wedding, but I did promise to put a comment on the site so here it is:
We had a Turkish themed wedding in the barn with colourful drapes and Turkish food. It was a really magical wedding, we had a fantastic venue, our guests, parents and also two fantastic hosts to thank for that. Jeffrey and Charles did so much to help us before the wedding (putting up the drapes, helping with chairs etc, and after the wedding too). We feel very lucky and privileged to have been married at Friars Court and we know that everyone had a great time too. If you can get a date at Friars Court then do it, you won't regret it. |

Dear Jeffrey and Charles,
We held our wedding on July 23rd at Friars Court and wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your help and assistance. Thank you for giving us the day of our lives and giving my dad that cup of tea! A huge huge thank you to you Jeffrey for all your prompt emails and sound advice. I love how you listened to what we wanted and were prepared to bring chairs in at the very last moment if it did rain knowing that we really wanted to be wed outside if humanly possible. You were superstars!!!!! My advice for anyone thinking of having their wedding at Friars Court is to do it! Thank you and best wishes to you both, Eva xx and Charlie xx |

What a day! I know that Sarah and Matt will contact you when they return from their honeymoon but I would like to send my own personal Thank You for all you did to ensure that their wedding day was really special.
From the very first meeting, your warm and friendly manner impressed us hugely and we felt that we would be in very good hands. During the planning process, you listened and tuned in to the style of wedding that Sarah and Matt wanted. You suggested ways in which they could use the fact that they were living in Shanghai to customise their wedding, getting fabric - metres and metres and metres of it - from the fabric market and suggesting ways in which they could use chinese lanterns etc . You always responded promptly when there was a query, and there were lots, not letting the issue of the bride and groom being on the other side of the world become a problem. Your help during the final run up to the big day was invaluable. You really did go the extra mile, and always with a smile and giving us the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. It was an amazing day. Sarah and Matt were able to relax and enjoy every moment and I am sure that will shine through in the photographs. So a huge Thank You. You have a wonderful set up at Friars Court and there will be so many brides in the future that will have the pleasure of planning their wedding with you. With love and good wishes Megan xx |

Dear Charles & Jeffrey We'd just like to say a massive thank you to you both for providing the stunning venue for our wedding on September 11th and for your help and guidance throughout. We had the most incredible day and you were both fantastic, making sure everything ran smoothly. I can't thank you enough for the mid-evening cuppa (I really needed that!!) and for making the garden look so magical - loads of our friends commented on how beautiful it looked. You really made our day the best it could possibly have been! Everyone just had the most fantastic time, it's kind of sad it's all over now, but the being married bit is blimmin' brilliant (except maybe for the pain of changing my name on everything, what a palaver that is!)
